Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 18, 2026
Swipellio is developed and operated by Evgenii Grunin (“Swipellio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, processed, and handled when you use the Swipellio mobile application and visit the Swipellio website.
1. Summary
Swipellio is designed to work primarily on your device.
Swipellio does not upload your photos or videos to our servers. We do not operate user accounts, use advertising SDKs, track users across apps or websites, or sell personal information.
2. Photo Library Access
Swipellio requires access to your photo library to provide its core functionality, including displaying, reviewing, grouping, comparing, organizing, and selecting photos or videos for deletion.
Depending on the permissions you grant, Swipellio may access:
- photos and videos;
- thumbnails and previews;
- creation dates and other media metadata;
- file types and dimensions;
- local identifiers provided by Apple Photos;
- information required to identify screenshots, similar items, and other media categories.
This information is processed locally on your device.
Swipellio does not transmit your photos, videos, thumbnails, photo metadata, or photo-library identifiers to servers operated by us.
We do not use your photos or videos for advertising, profiling, facial recognition, or training artificial intelligence models.
You can limit or revoke Swipellio’s access to your photo library at any time through iOS Settings. Some or all app functionality may stop working if access is limited or revoked.
3. Local App Data
Swipellio may store information locally on your device to operate the App, including:
- app settings and preferences;
- cleanup and review progress;
- information about items you have reviewed, kept, skipped, or selected;
- locally generated similarity or classification results;
- temporary caches;
- purchase and entitlement status made available through Apple;
- information required to restore your previous app state.
This information is not transmitted to servers operated by us.
Local information may be included in device or iCloud backups depending on your Apple Account, device settings, and Apple’s backup behavior. Apple controls those services.
You can remove locally stored Swipellio data by using any available reset function in the App or by deleting the App. Some information managed by Apple, including purchase history, backups, and App Store records, may remain under Apple’s control.
4. Purchases and Subscriptions
Payments, subscriptions, purchase restoration, refunds, and billing are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit.
We do not directly receive or store:
- payment-card numbers;
- bank-account information;
- Apple Account passwords;
- complete App Store purchase histories.
The App may receive limited transaction and entitlement information from Apple, such as whether a purchase or subscription is active, expired, cancelled, or eligible for restoration. This information is used only to provide purchased functionality.
Apple processes payment, account, device, transaction, and related information under Apple’s own privacy policies and terms.
5. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
Swipellio does not currently include third-party:
- advertising networks;
- behavioral analytics services;
- cross-app tracking tools;
- data brokers;
- attribution or advertising-measurement SDKs.
Swipellio does not track you across apps or websites and does not display third-party advertising.
Apple may independently collect and process App Store, purchase, device, usage, crash, and diagnostic information through iOS and its developer services. Such processing is controlled by Apple and is subject to Apple’s policies and your Apple device settings.
6. Support Communications
Swipellio does not require you to create an account or provide contact information.
If you voluntarily contact us, we may receive:
- your email address;
- your name, if included;
- the contents of your message;
- screenshots, diagnostic files, or other information you choose to attach.
We use this information only to respond to your request, investigate a problem, protect the App, or comply with legal obligations.
Do not send photos, videos, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your support request.
Support communications are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable law.
7. Website Information
When you visit the Swipellio website, the website hosting provider may automatically process limited technical information necessary to deliver and protect the website, such as:
- IP address;
- browser and device type;
- requested page;
- date and time of the request;
- basic security and server-log information.
We do not use this information for behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking.
The Swipellio website does not currently require user accounts, accept payments, or intentionally use advertising cookies.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
We do not share your photos, videos, photo metadata, or local app activity with third parties.
Limited information may be processed or disclosed only where reasonably necessary:
- by Apple to provide the App Store, StoreKit, Photos, iCloud, device backup, and related platform services;
- by our website or email provider to deliver the website or support communications;
- to comply with applicable law, a court order, or a valid legal request;
- to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our rights;
- to protect the safety, rights, and property of users, Swipellio, or others;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of the Swipellio business, subject to applicable law and appropriate data protection.
Service providers are permitted to process information only for the relevant service and subject to their applicable contractual and legal obligations.
9. Photo and Video Deletion
Swipellio helps you review and select photos and videos for deletion.
Deletion is performed through Apple’s Photos system. The exact deletion process, confirmation screens, synchronization, recovery period, and storage behavior are controlled by iOS, Apple Photos, iCloud Photos, and your device settings.
Deleted items may remain in the “Recently Deleted” album for a period determined by Apple unless they are permanently removed.
If iCloud Photos is enabled, changes to your photo library may synchronize across devices connected to the same Apple Account.
Swipellio does not maintain copies of deleted photos or videos and cannot restore permanently deleted content.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
Because photo-library information and app progress are processed locally, we generally do not possess that information and cannot access, export, or delete it remotely.
You can:
- revoke photo access through iOS Settings;
- reset locally stored progress using an available in-app reset function;
- remove local app data by deleting the App;
- manage purchases and subscriptions through your Apple Account;
- contact us to request deletion of personal information contained in support communications.
We may retain information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, establish or defend legal claims, prevent fraud, or maintain required business records.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited information we handle.
The primary privacy protection used by Swipellio is local processing: photos and videos are processed on your device rather than uploaded to our servers.
However, no device, software, storage system, email service, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your device, Apple Account, backups, passcode, and photo library.
12. Children’s Privacy
Swipellio is a general-audience utility and is not directed specifically to children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us through a support communication, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
13. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights relating to personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain information.
Because Swipellio does not operate user accounts or store your photo library on its servers, most photo-library and app-usage information is not available to us.
Requests relating to information that we actually possess, such as support emails, can be sent to the contact address below. We may need to verify that the request relates to you before completing it.
You may also have the right to contact your local data-protection authority.
14. International Availability
Swipellio may be available in multiple countries and regions.
Where local law provides privacy or consumer rights that cannot be limited by this Privacy Policy, those rights continue to apply.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Swipellio, its data practices, legal requirements, or Apple platform services.
The current version will be published at:
The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when this Privacy Policy changes materially.
